The Eno River is the major waterway through Durham, North Carolina. Once threatened with being dammed, it has been preserved in its natural state by groups of citizens who have worked together to create an extended corridor of parks and land conservation. Their work has protected the river’s natural environment and created public spaces where we can all experience the river. Work continues to protect this natural resource.
